|

FLYING W FARMS; owners and breeders of some of the most famous bloodlines ever known in the world of miniatures horses! We were leading breeders for several years in the 1980's and established the double bred Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy bloodlines for generations to come!
We owned both Little Blue Boy and the Famous Gold
Melody Boy until they died. |
||
We have sons and doublebred grandsons of Little Blue Boy among our breeding stallions. We also have Blue Boy daughters and doublebred granddaughters in our very select herd. |

We still breed and raise many of our Blue Boy mares to our Blue Boy sons to keep that 50% line bred Little Blue Boy pedigree. These double-breds carry 50% Blue Boy, same as own son or daughter would. Above are some photos of a few of our double bred Blue Boy sons and daughters, all of which look like identical to Little Boy himself. They are the miniature Arabian type we all love so much! |

From: Livestock Director Cc: Kristy Mackey ; editor@amha.org Sent: Wednesday, June 20, 2007 Subject: MSF Miniature Horse Show Dear Wagners: Little Blue Boy was the Grand Champion at our 1st Miniature Show in 1984.This is our 24th Show and my last year as Show Chairman and as Livestock Director of the Mid-South Fair In Memphis, Tenn. After 39 Fairs I guess it’s time. I’ve enjoyed it all, but just love it when the Minis arrive. I will never forget talking to you, Fredericka, at the National Show at Dallas in 1983. I was told that you could tell me more than anyone about Miniatures. I fell in love with the miniatures and hoped to be able to start raising them, but due to Post Polio Syndrome becoming full blown in 1989 my dream ended. Thank you for your kindness and for Mr. Wagner and your son Bobby bringing Little Blue Boy to our 1st Show.
Times have changed and we now have a 4 Judge Show. Since the Nationals (World Show) dates are at the same time as our show We don’t get to see at lot of our former exhibitors. We have a good Show, but most exhibitors are building so that they can make the World Show. We are proud to have been involved with the minis and still dream of having one. Thanks again for helping with our 1st Show! Shirley Key Livestock Director Mid-South Fair 940 Early Maxwell Blvd. Memphis, TN 38104 901-322-1470 livestockdirector@midsouthfair.org
