Subject: Re: Update On Tillie
Hi Fredericka:
It is a very special relationship that Oliver and Tillie have. She
stays close to him most of the time, and he is her lawyer -- always
bargaining for something on her behalf. I mentioned to Lucy last
week that initially Tillie
was a little wary of Oliver because his cerebral palsy causes him to
move unpredictably at times, and Tillie is not a big fan of
unpredictable. Now though, they are simply inseparable. When he gets
home from school she
starts that dance that she does -- up and down with her front paws
-- and then spins in circles until he gets out of the wheelchair and
goes over to her. When he sits on the rug to watch TV or play video
games -- she's right
next to him. When he goes to his room to do his homework, she goes
with him. It's really great to see. Every boy needs a dog, and every
dog needs a boy, I guess.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos; I will certainly keep you
updated.
Please give my regards to Mr. Wagner.
Best,
Jim |

Subject: Update On RC (Tillie)
Hi
Fredericka:
Wanted to update you RC (whom I had renamed Tillie).
She'd doing quite well -- fit and happy, and has become
particularly great friends with my fiancée's son, Oliver. He is 12
years old, deaf, with cerebral palsy, and he and Tillie are thick
as thieves. She is quite gentle with, and protective of, him.
I thought you might enjoy a few pictures of them taken last Friday
-- a snow day here. You can really see the love between them. Feel
free to use them on your website if you like.
I can't tell you have happy Tillie has made me (and now us), she
is really a treasure. Thank you so much.
Hope all is well with you.
Best regards.
Jim
