Subject: Update on Ruby

Fredericka,
Sorry it has taken so long to write! Ruby is
doing great! She is growing like a weed, she's around 80 lbs. now
at about 6 1/2 months old. She has definitely been a joy to both
Matt and I, and it's hard to imagine life without her. Ruby has a
lot of new friends, and she gets along with them all so well. Her
favorite is her Aunt Lucy, the golden retriever in the
picture. You can't say the other one's name aloud without
them going crazy. They love to play for hours on end, and they
are definitely our entertainment. Ruby has the goofiest
personality, and she is always finding a new way to crack us
up. And she has definitely perfected the art of "selective
hearing." She passed her puppy class, and was the largest by far,
even bigger than another mastiff in the class. We plan to enroll
her in another obedience class soon.
I will try and write a bit more frequently, but
here are a few photos from the weekend we brought her home until
now. Thank you again for such a wonderful animal, we love our
"little" Rubes!!
