Hello Fredericka and Lucy,
Wishing you a Merry Christmas! Duke is
enjoying his 1st Christmas and is setting a wonderful example for
all of the dogs in training at "Duke's Camp." He is now 11 months
old and we are looking forward to celebrating his 1st birthday in
January at Duke's Pets.
I would be so happy if you would post
this picture on your website. He is sooooo handsome :)

I think Duke is exceptionally handsome as well! I
think I am a bit biased though :)
The vet didn't seem concerned with the
cysts. She explained that some dogs get these and she froze them
for me in case Duke developed any other cysts. If that happens she
will send them to get analyzed, but she really felt they were no
big deal. The only reason I chose to remove them was because he
was already going to be under anesthesia for the neuter and one of
them was quite obvious on his face. She did a beautiful job. No
apparent scars on his face at all.
I will continue to keep you posted.
Thank you for such a wonderful puppy! Oh! I had to take this
opportunity to send a couple more pics :) We have so many! The
last picture is so funny. Alfie (little papillon) wasn't so
welcoming to Little Duke when we first brought him home :) Now she
loves to play with him! You may post any pics you like because it
is too hard for me to choose! Kelly

Subject: Duke
Hello Fredericka and Lucy,
Duke is 7-1/2 mos old now. He has put
a smile on my face every day since I picked him up from Flying W
Farms! Duke is the mascot at Duke's Pets. Many of our clients
come in to the store just to visit Duke! They remark how well
behaved he is considering his size and age. He weighs about 100
lbs now.
He does a wonderful job demonstrating
his obedience during my training classes. We started him in puppy
class immediately and I continued to work with him for his AKC
Puppy All Star Canine Good Citizen evaluation. Duke has a
wonderful temperament and is a joy to have by my side no matter
where I am. He is a wonderful pet in the home and a great
companion outside of the home. He loves to play ball and chase the
water hose!
Our plans are to have him evaluated at
1 year old for his CGC and therapy dog certification. I have no
doubt that he will pass with flying colors. I hope you enjoyed the
pictures of Duke from The Greenbrier 4th of July Parade.
Duke has already had some "cosmetic
surgery." He had 2 small cysts in his cheeks. The vet removed them
when he was neutered and believes they were nothing serious. He
has healed nicely. The vet remarked that he was an extremely good
patient and couldn't believe how nicely he walked on a leash. She
took him for a walk the day after his surgery. Duke enjoys his
walks! He is a happy, confident, and well socialized puppy! Most
of all, he's my buddy :)
I attached a bunch of pictures. You
may use these pictures and any other pictures that I have already
sent to you on your website.
Thank you!
Kelly

him. He is a beautiful, strong, confident and playful puppy as you
can see. I have been so busy my website hasn't been updated so I
wanted you to see pictures of him.
