Dear
Lucy and Fredericka,
Sorry I have not sent you an update on Dexter. I have been out of
town most of the year caring for my father and then he passed away
in April. I am still trying to get back to normal and Dexter has
been a great help in getting there.
I just want to take a few moments to describe Dexter and what he
means to us. I personally have never had a dog that means so much
to me. I have fallen in love with him and would be completely
devastated if anything ever happened to him. He seems to know
when I am feeling sad and will stay by my side all day. If Ethan,
our 4 year old, starts to cry Dexter will run over to his side and
just sit there until Ethan feels better. He is clumsy and
entertains us all with his antics. My neighbors constantly call
and ask if Dexter can come over to play. He loves to play soccer
with all the kids, however, he thinks the ball is his so the kids
are constantly having to chase him to get the ball.
Well, if you haven't figured it out by now, we are totally in love
with Dexter. As far as we are concerned American Mastiff's are
the best.
Sincerely,
Kym
