Subject: Paxton horse show AND FLYING W FARMS PRINCE OF
THEIVES "AKA" PHANTOM
I just got home from the Paxton Dressage
Classic. Phantom was amazing for his first under saddle show. Both
of the judges on Saturday and Sunday were Olympic judges. On
Sunday, Phantom went to show horse mode. He went into the ring with
such presence. He did the test almost perfect except he did a happy
bounce into the canter. We got a 59.31% and got 2nd place!! We
beat the imported Warmbloods! I had Olympic riders like George
Williams coming up to look at Phantom and they would come and watch
me ride him. It was amazing. The one judge talked to me when I
finished my test and said how she thought Phantom is such a great
horse and did awesome for a 3 year old. She told me to keep up the
good work and Phantom is going to become a marvelous Grand Prix
horse. I'm so proud of him and I can't wait for KY in two weeks.
I'll send you pictures when I'm able to. I don't have them with me
right now.

Phantom did a
wonderful job at the KY Horse Park. We got 1st place in 3 y/o
materiale class with a 71.8%. In Dressage Training 4 we got a 4th
and 5th with a 60.4% both tests. The judges loved Phantom. The
judge said that Phantom and I were demonstrating the purpose of this
level. The one judge even said it looked like I was on a Grand Prix
horse! Wow! I'll send pictures as soon as possible. I had lots of
people always coming up to ask about Phantom. And they were so
surprised on his age because he was so well behaved. (he is only three
years old!)
My trainer's
mother, Kelly, really is impressed with Phantom and would like to plan
a day to come down to Flying W with me to see your babies! She said
she would like a horse like Phantom.
