Flying W Farms realizes that not all of their clients show their horses.
A show home is wonderful but not required; Lots of the champions we have bred are owned, trained and shown by their "best friend" owners, many of whom are amateurs. These owners also enjoy their horses on trails, at home, and as part of their family. "What you breed in, you need not train in."

DRUM FOALS
Gypsy Drum Horse Colt #1
This is a chestnut and white purebred Gypsy Drum Horse colt born April 6, 2013
Mother: Flying W Farms Princess Song at Twilight is by Flying W Farms Koning (Friesian)
LINK TO VIDEO BELOW
This beautiful skewbald (red and white) colt is two days old in the photos and video. He is gorgeous and will make a very
impressive Drum Horse. He has parade and show ring presence and natural self carriage. He is a very good mover and can already
do flying changes at just two days of age( video). He was born with feathers evident and should have long silky white
feathers from knee to ground by the time he is three years old. He is very friendly and likes people. This is a super nice
Drum colt. Price $4500
His mother is an incredible mover. (video) She has the natural self carriage of a Friesian/Gypsy cross. Very impressive
use of her neck and ears (video). She is an incredible mover. She has impulsion from behind and lots of suspension and
extension at the trot. You can see how nice she is in this video even though she just delivered a big foal only two days prior
to filming. Twilight has long silky white feathers so you can only see them flying when she is moving. She is a very
gentle mare. Her sire is Koning, our Friesian stallion. Her mother is a daughter of Gypsy King out of a clydesdale mare.
Twilight is about 15.3 hands. She is not for sale.

gentle. His estimated mature height 16.2; If you like FWF Baron Von Vendaval (a horse we raised that is now very

This colt was only about twelve hours old. (Same day he was born)Just look at him! He is amazing. So "upfronted" built up hill,
with that gorgeous uprignt vertical Friesian neck; We expect him to mature 16.3 maybe 17 hands. Even so young, he has incredible movement.
The mother of this colt is Strictly Trustworth MHS, American Saddlebred. Please know this mare is 18 years old and she
had only just foaled twelve hours ago. Still, she is so classical, what a mover, and she knows how to use her neck!
Even having just delivered this huge foal, she is still so elegant, at 18 yrs old. She is not for sale.
She is also the mother of our Grand Champion Friesian Georgian Grandes Flying W Farms Baroness Von Truffle,
Flying W Farms Princess Gloriana, Baron Von Safino, to mention a few of her champion foals. Her foals always matured
large but this is the biggest, tallest foal she has ever had! We estimate his mature height 16.3 maybe 17 hands.
We have very high hopes for this colt. He looks like a horse a king or general would ride!
Price for this colt is a very reasonable $4500 or best offer.
This video is at 12 hours old.

Here is a colt with WOW! This colt is simply stunning; he shows promise of upper level dressage! Filmed at one day old, just look at him move! His mother Cadence is 20 years old, (we keep our broodmares for lifetime, after all they have done for us, they deserve a forever
home here with us). Though she is 20 yrs old, and foaled the day before
this video, she still has her wonderful elastic movement and grace.
Cadence has produced champions for us, this may be her last
foal. Whomever gets this colt is going to be so very glad they did!
He is going to the top in dressage/CT. If you only want a wonderful
riding horse and companion, he would be an excellent choice.
You would have the prettiest horse on the trails! We estimate his
mature height to be 16.2. Price $5000 or best offer
This video is at 1 day old.

GYPSY COB FILLY #3 FOALED APRIL 11, 2013
Sire Samson (Gypsy Vanner/Gypsy Cob)
Mother is FWF Gypsy Lyric by SMHC Gypsy King
This beautiful tri-colored Gypsy Cob filly is 3/4 gypsy and 1/4 Welsh pony; We haven't named her yet. Usually let the buyer do that. This filly is very friendly, loves people. She is very Gypsy and will have lovely silky white feathers down to the ground by time she is three.
We estimate her mature height to be 13 hands. She is a Proper Gypsy Cob and built like a little tank. Small, compact, sturdy, fancy little girl.
She has a brisk walk, really nice movement, well balanced for a foal only a few days old. She has a really nice canter. She gets her leads every time and that's pretty
amazing for a filly so young. Her head is very pretty, big eyes, short back and big strong well rounded hindquarters with a crease down the "butt."
The Romani people say a proper gypsy cob should have a "butt like a cook and a head like a lady." This filly fits that to a tee. Big butt and gorgeous head. Her price is only $3500

Thank you to the McClungs for this video.
The Wagner family of Flying W Farms.
Acushla is an Irish
name that means "Beat of my heart."
She carries the resemblance of a "heart" marking on her right
shoulder;
She is also "sweetheart" friendly and has gentle, typical Gypsy
disposition.
This filly is a very PROPER COB and meets the breed standard. She
has a broad sturdy body with very strong "Apple" rump; short
strong back, perfect feet and leg with plenty of bone. She has a
"sweet' head and beautiful gypsy neck tied into a sloping free moving shoulder. She carries her
hocks well up underneath her when she moves producing impulsion
from behind and incredible movement.
She will have an abundance of
hair,( looks like she will have double mane like her sire ) You can see from her photos this filly has long silky white feathers from knee to the ground
already! With time she will have the "bell" feathers we all love.
Here is a Gypsy Cob filly suitable for the entire family to enjoy, ideal for riding and driving;
Registration eligible for GHA.
