I am enclosing
another photo of Angus and our son David taken when Angus was about a year old. It shows how loving
these dogs are. They spent many nights watching TV on the couch together even after Angus was
over 200 pounds.
Thank you and take care.

Subject: Angus

Well it’s been a long time since I sent you a letter, and I wish I didn’t have to send this one; I would have written sooner but it was just to hard. Angus was our boy from George and Sunshine he was 6years 10 months old when we lost him to cancer. We found out 3/13/09 (Friday the 13th ) and we lost him on the following Thursday morning at home, he had his whole family with him. I wanted you to know he was everything to us, what a great dog and member of our family. I would not trade the time we had with him for anything, I just wish it could have been longer.

It was a shock to us, he had no symptoms until 8 days before we lost him.

Our German Shepard Bearon seems lost without him, Bear is 13 years old and Angus took care of him. Angus even protected him from a Pit bull that was climbing our fence trying to get to Bear. I know if Angus wasn’t there that day we would have lost Bear.  Angus was never ever aggressive to other dogs before or after this happened, he was just doing his job and protecting his family.

My husband Steve always called Angus his big buddy, you see the following year after we picked Angus up my husband had a major heart attack, he now has a pacemaker/ defibrillator and was home for 5 years because he was in and out of the hospital with other heart problems and Angus was there for him, he kept him from falling into a deep depression because someone needed him during the day. My husband is now back to work and doing great. We will never forget Angus and I still can’t think about him without crying but someday we will be able to  get another male brindle puppy from you, which  my husband has

already named Gus after his boy Angus; We had Angus cremated and he is sitting on the head board of our bed, my husband said he was always in our bed and that’s where he needs to be, and I agree. I’m sorry my letter was so long but I just wanted to say thank you, if not for you we would never have had Angus in our lives and a part of our family.

Sincerely,

Steve, Tracy and David S.
